Meal planning and preparation is a large part of our life, right? Right! So…I thought I’d share some recipes and resources with you.
Tools I Recommend:
LeCreuset Dutch Oven — A fantastic piece of cookware. Heavy. Durable. Holds heat like you cannot believe. I use one that is very similar to this one. Great for poaching skinless/boneless chicken breasts. Perfect for making a pot of chili or vegetable soup.
Santoku Knife — This is, by far, my favorite ‘go to’ knife for slicing, chopping and dicing. I use a Cuisinart knife very similar to this one. If you have never tried one, I suggest you make the small investment and get one. It’s the best kind of knife to have.
Meat Thermometer — You need one of these inexpensive gadgets to BE SURE your beef or pork or poultry is done. It will give you peace of mind. And that is important when it comes to healthy cooking. The LAST thing you want is to get sick because you ate something that wasn’t ‘done’.
Four-Cup Glass Measuring Cup — This is the mix-and-cook tool for the microwave egg creation that I frequently prepare. It looks like this one.
